1. Ruth R. Adams received her BA degree from Radcliffe College, her MS from The City College of New York, and her PhD from New York University (educational psychology: developmental and remedial reading). Postdoctoral work has been at the New School in clinical testing. She is now associate dean of the School of Education of The City College of New York. 2. Lillian Lerner received her BA degree from Brooklyn College and her MA from Teachers College at Columbia University in psychology and teaching. She is director of curriculum for School District 10 in the Bronx, N.Y., which contains 20 elementary schools and seven junior high schools. She has published a wide array of materials for teachers, pupils, supervisors, and parents.
3. Judith Anderson is a teacher at Friends Seminary Lower School in New York City, and her special area of study is in Piagetian aspects of children's learning. She received her BM degree from Northwestern University and her MA in early childhood education from Bank Street College in New York City.
