Abstract
This article offers criteria for identifying one group of attentionally disabled adolescents whose disability is often overlooked or misinterpreted, but who are likely to benefit from stimulant medication. The "Freedom from Distractibility" quotient is discussed, and a case history is presented as an example of a residual attentional deficit.
