Abstract
Normative ratings of 100 personality trait adjectives on (1) probability that the word would be used to describe a male or a female, (2) general likability (sex undefined), (3) likability in a male, and (4) likability in a female, are presented. Analyses of these normative ratings provided information of substantive interest to both impression formation and sex-role research.
