Abstract
There are relatively few instruments that measure attitudes toward both drug users and drug usage, including abuse of prescription drugs. This study was concerned with the measurement charcteristics of an instrument which can be employed for this purpose. Subjects were 347 teachers and college students. Analysis included calculation of factor reliability, in variance, and validity coefficients. The results suggest that the attitude items can be employed to evaluate impacts which represent an important aspect of most drug education programs.
