Extensions of Computer Analyses for Multifactor Split-Plot Designs With Unequal N

Abstract

Following a method to analyze split-plot designs which have one "between subjects" variable with unequal n, and one "within subjects" variable, an extension is suggested to analyze more complicated designs. The technique presented is based on a program in Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) (Nie, Hull, Jenkins, Steinbrenner, and Bent, 1975).
