Abstract
A computerized quantitative content analysis was performed on the Rotter Incomplete Sentences Blanks of 61 newly admitted male and female freshmen whose frequencies of word usages were then used to generate five discrete category scores. Regression analyses using these scores as predictor variates yielded significant initial sample relationships with each of two asocial behavior ratings obtained after a two-year interval. Of these two criterion measures, one labeled narcissism yielded upon cross validation a coefficient significant at the .05 level. All of the three rated behavioral dimensions, bizarre or extravagant religious behavior, post-drinking excessive-ness, and self-serving egocentricity were found to be independent of the standard RISB score in both the initial and validation sample.
