Abstract
Heat transfer and crystallization kinetics during the processing of thermo plastic composite materials are modeled mathematically in order to predict the tempera ture and degree of crystallinity as a function of position and time. The model can accom modate complex geometries, variable properties as well as a choice of boundary conditions. The model was verified by comparison with experimental results.
