Abstract
The sensor, which retains information about heating by means of irreversible changes of its structure, is considered. The sample of a heat conducting material with bars of temperature-indicating paints, located normally to the heated surface, is used as such a sensor. The coordinates of color change zones are stored in the sample after it is cooled. The special inverse heat conduction problem, which enables us to restore the heating history by using these coordinates, is considered. The results of numerical experiments are presented.
