Abstract
A two year study was conducted to evaluate the compression given by lightweight support tights in 461 women employed in standing occupations. The results suggest that 74% of volunteers experience relief of mild symptoms of venous disease or lessening of moderate-or-severe symptoms and that in approximately 6%, control of small superficial varicies was attained.
