Abstract
Focus groups regarding the role of journalism in rural development were conducted with community leaders and news professionals in 12 targeted counties in Georgia. This article discusses the implications of focus groups as an inquiry/intervention technique. Focus group participants were surveyed 4-6 months later regarding the impact of focus group experiences.
