1. Katrina M. Walsemann is an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina, Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior. Her research focuses on the role of early life experiences on health and well-being over the life course. In particular, she is interested in understanding how institutions contribute to cumulative advantages and disadvantages in health, particularly among black and Hispanic populations.
2. Gilbert C. Gee is an associate professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, Department of Community Health Sciences. His research focuses on the social determinants of health disparities, and in particular on racial discrimination and stressors at multiple levels.
3. Arline T. Geronimus is a professor at the University of Michigan, Department of Health Behavior and Health Education, and a research professor at the Population Studies Center. Her research focuses on the effects of poverty, institutionalized discrimination, and aspects of residential areas on health.
