Abstract
Palliative care aims to improve the quality of life of patients and their families in those experiencing life-threatening illness. One of the most significant aspects of palliation is the alleviation of pain and distressing symptoms. This article aims to improve confidence in pain assessment and management by presenting a review on pain in palliative care.
