Abstract
Human dignity is a phenomenon of interest in many disciplines, including health-related disciplines. The author in this article explores the ethics of dignity and sets forth the tenets of human dignity as a humanbecoming ethical phenomenon. The tenets elaborate reverence, awe, betrayal, and shame, all enduring truths inherently significant to human dignity.
