Abstract
To assist in understanding the changing needs of persons with Alzheimer's disease (AD), the I-FAAD (Instrument for Affirming Alzheimer's Disease) was produced It is a table that includes stage specific concepts regarding degenerative dementia, early childhood development, helpful caregiver behaviors, caregivers' emotional recycling, and helpful affirmations. Hopefully, it can help caregivers understand and incorporate behaviors and messages that correlate to early childhood development needs.
