1. Suzanne S. Hudd, Ph.D. is an associate professor of Sociology at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. She is interested in social and cultural influences on character development and contemporary character education practices. She is currently conducting research with middle school students to understand the ways in which social, institutional and familial factors influence the ways in which they define and experience character events.
2. Eric F. Bronson received his Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University in 2002. He is an assistant professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Quinnipiac University. His research interests include inmate subcultures and violence on college campuses. His teaching areas include corrections, sociology of sport, and race, crime, and justice.
