Abstract
Granular cell tumor is an uncommon benign neoplasm that, on rare occasions, presents as a breast mass. The diagnosis of this lesion can be challenging since it can mimic invasive breast carcinoma on clinical, imaging, and gross pathologic examination. Extensive surgery can be avoided by obtaining a preoperative histologic diagnosis by percutaneous core biopsy or directional vacuum-assisted biopsy with sonographic or mammographic guidance.
