Abstract
This study evaluated the Acuity Card Procedure, an acuity test originally developed for assessing the visual acuity of infants. The study found that, of the 36 children assessed, 42 percent responded; however, after a simple intervention, the response rate increased to 85 percent. These results suggest that the Acuity Card Procedure can be useful in assessing the visual acuity of children with severe visual and multiple impairments.
