Variazioni Del Contenuto in Mucoproteine Percloricosolubili Del Plasma e Del Connettivo Sottocutaneo in Ratti Trattati Con Estrogeni Di Sintesi

Abstract

Variations in the perchlorsoluble mucoprotein contents (expressed as tyrosine and hydrocarbon equivalent) have been studied in plasma and subcutaneous connective tissue of rats of both sexes treated with synthetic estrogen (dioxy-diethylstilbene). An increase in the contents was observed both in blood and connective tissue after administration of 9, 24, 50 mg in males and 24, 50 mg in females. No significant modifications were observed after administration of 100 mg in males and 9, 100 mg in females. Some possible interpretations are advanced.
