Engaging China's Nuclear and Missile Threat

Abstract

The relationship between India and China is guided by mistrust and competition, despite their trade dependence and geographical proximity. India is more conscious of China's nuclear and missile modernization because India's forces lack strategic depth against China. China has strategic doctrine, planning and resources, while India lacks in all these. China also helped Pakistan, which is a crucial point for India to note. This article tries to find out how to deal with these gaps at the strategic, military, diplomatic and economic level.
