Abstract
Take-all has long been a problem for cereal producers, increasingly so as intensive systems have been developed. Although there is no satisfactory method of control where consecutive cereals are grown, the available evidence indicates that losses from the disease can be reduced by strict regulation of fertilizer application, having regard to local conditions.
