Abstract
Agriculture, in the broadest interpretation of the word, has many, widely differing, uses for aircraft, and thus for a variety of different types of aircraft, including a whole range of helicopter designs. At first sight the helicopter appears to be the ideal universal spray aircraft, but in practice it has definite limitations. This article considers these limitations, as well as the special uses for which the helicopter is ideal.
