Abstract
A review of the research findings dealing with the traditional warning signs of school failure showed that many of these signs have little actual bearing on later school achievement. Five warning signs were located, however, that teachers should find useful as aids in helping them to identify kindergarten children who are truly at-risk for later school failure.
