Abstract
This article reports the methodology and results of a two-year program evaluation effort to determine the effectiveness of an early intervention program for handicapped infants and preschool children. The primary outcome variable was child change as measured by two dependent measures. Other outcome variables included documentation of population characteristics, parent satisfaction, and program operation costs. Overall, the results indicate the intervention program had a positive impact on participating children and their parents.
