In 1992, Carl Bildt gave one in relation to attacks by a racist serial killer; in 2003 Göran Persson spoke about the murder of the Swedish foreign minister; in 2020 Stefan Löfven gave two speeches within the context of the Covid-19 pandemic; and in 2022 Magdalena Andersson addressed the nation following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
