Abstract
Air gun injuries are traditionally regarded as trivial unless they penetrate vulnerable superficial organs such as the eye, and demands for tighter controls have been largely disregarded. We report a unique complication of a penetrating air gun pellet which emphasises the potential lethal capability of these weapons.
