Abstract
Three new flavonoids, namely 6-methoxyluteolin-4′-O-lactate, apigenin-4′-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside and tamarixetin-3-{O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]-α-L-rhamnopyranoside}-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, together with six known flavones have been isolated from the aerial parts of Ambrosia maritima L. The structures of the isolated compounds have been established by conventional methods of chemical and physical analyses and were confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
