1. Russell Gersten is an associate profesor of special education at the University of Oregon. He earned his doctorate in special education at the University of Oregon in 1978. His research interests include reading comprehension, staff development, and the change process and implementation of effective programs for low income and minority students.
2. Douglas Carnine is also an associate professor at the University of Oregon. He earned his doctorate in educational psychology at the Universiiy of Utah in 1974. His research specialization is instructional design, applied to various subject areas in print, computer and videodisc media.
3. John Woodward is a research associate at the University of Oregon. He completed his doctorate at the University in 1981 and has been working in the area of technology applications for mildly handicapped secondary students.
