1. Judith A. Bondurant-Utz, EdD, is an associate professor at the State University College at Buffalo, Department of Exceptional Education. Her current research interests include the use of whole language learning in special classrooms and integration and transition in early childhood special education.
2. Katie T. Gorbett is coordinator of the Special Education Training and Resource Center for Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES and a graduate student at Canisius College, Buffalo, New York. She has worked with multiply handicapped, severe and profound students for 23 years and is very active in New York State Special Olympics and with the New York State United Teachers.
3. Sally S. Quinby is a special education training and resource center trainer for Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES. She also coordinates two state projects---POPP (Partnership of Parents and Professionals) and a State Education Department grant to write a statewide training program for teachers and administrators who work with children with emotional disabilities.
