Janis Chadsey-Rusch, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of Illinois, Champaign, and a principal investigator with the Secondary Transition Intervention Effectiveness Institute. Her research focuses on the social interactions used in employment settings, strategies to enhance the transition from school to work, and spontaneous language use by learners with severe handicaps.
2. Frank R. Rusch, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Special Education and director of the Secondary Transition Intervention Effectiveness Institute. His research interests are in the areas of transition; supported employment; coworker involvement and natural supports in work settings; and self-instructional strategies.
3. Mark F. O'Reilly is a PhD candidate in the Department of Special Education and a research assistant with the Secondary Transition Intervention Effectiveness Institute. His research interests concern personnel preparation and effective strategies for teaching social skills to individuals with disabilities.
