1. Gary L. Anderson is a faculty member in the Language, Literacy and Cultural Studies and Educational Administration Programs in the College of Education, University of New Mexico. He received his PhD from Ohio State University in Columbus. 2. Isaura Barrera is an assistant professor in the Special Education Department at the University of New Mexico. She received her doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her current research interests are language, CulturaVlinguistic diversity, and socioemotional development of young children with special needs as these relate to multicultural early childhood special education teacher education.
