Abstract
The question of how and when to graduate students with disabilities has become an engaging issue for parents and public school personnel. This article examines the legal and practice considerations regarding high school graduation, including graduation standards, minimum competency testing, and termination of services. Recommendations are provided on how school districts can establish a process for graduating students with disabilities within the legal framework of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
