Abstract
This article deals with the methodology of computer-assisted simulations for English language teaching, stressing the need for cooperative group approaches to a communication-based problem-solving activity. It argues the case for fluency goals in language teaching, as opposed to a narrow focus on discrete-point language teaching, and provides examples of classroom methodologies based on available simulations.
