Abstract
Using an age-independent anthropometric method, the nutritional status of handicapped children in Benin City was found to be below normal. Apparently normal children aged 6–8 years from poor socioeconomic environments were also found to be below normal. However, children from better socioeconomic environments compared well with average American children.
