Recent Advances in our Understanding of Peripheral Vision and Some Implications

Abstract

The characteristics of peripheral vision and its relation to object recognition and snatial orientation functions are reviewed in the light of recent developments. Implications of these findings and their relevance to some selected hunan engineering problems are discussed.
