Ergonomic Evaluation of Office Chairs

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to present the Ergonomic evaluation of two commercial office chair models. This evaluation was made using a two-stage methodology, an objective and a subjective one. The results of these two stages has turned clear its complementarities and the problems at the ergonomic level shown up by those chairs were due to design deficiencies.
