A Microcomputer Relaxation Technique Using Sample Statistics for Describing the Relationship between Human Factors Measures

Abstract

The relaxation algorithm described in this paper is a method of developing an estimate of the relationship between a dependent variable and an independent variable when the only data available are sample statistics from ranges of the independent variable. An application using a micro-computer is described. The accuracy and sensitivity of the technique is compared with regression analysis.
