Abstract
Nephrolithiasis and nephrocalcinosis in childhood, though relatively uncommon, are more prevalent than reported cases would indicate. Their presence not only may lead to serious disturbances in renal function, but may also direct attention to underlying metabolic or anatomic ab normalities such as hyperparathyroidism, renal tubular acidosis or urethral valves.
