Abstract
What are the principal differences between sociologists and marketing men? This article provides some significant answers. It deals with the extent to which marketing men may turn to sociologists for assistance in solving marketing problems. The author also introduces a new word, marketologist, for the individual engaged in the development of the scientific aspects of marketing.
