Abstract
Churches and denominations are being forced to respond to clergy sexual malfeasance. Often the response formulated is insufficient, due to an inadequate understanding of the problem. This article identifies clergy sexual malfeasance as not only a personal moral issue, but also a professional ethical issue. Ethical concerns with regards to the restoration of a fallen pastor are outlined. As well, a process of restoration is suggested.
