Abstract
Storytelling is much more than an effective method to teach students to use management concepts to make sense of real life experiences. Practice in storytelling builds students' "performance" and "learning" skills. In addition, story skill training may enhance management performance. The article includes practical advice on teaching storytelling skills, as well as on story writing and story interpretation skills. With practice, students do improve their performance as storytellers and enhance their chances for scripting a healthier, happier, and more terrific story for their work lives.
