Abstract
This article describes and illustrates how to effectively answer 10 questions that experts in the field have raised concerning the content and process of teaching managerial skills. In addition, it demonstrates how to deal with two other issues that have been largely neglected in the literature: culture and course evaluation. The author describes how to incorporate culture into a course designed to enhance managerial skills and how to measure results achieved against multiple learning criteria sought. The article offers a set of 12 creative, practical, and pretested ideas that both neophyte and experienced instructors can apply either separately or packaged together to meet the skill-building needs of their students.
