Abstract
A definition and explanation of what job-sharing involves are fol lowed by some examples of why and where people job share. The advantages and disadvantages of job-sharing are explored in some depth, concentrating on the employer's viewpoint, and there is information On implementing job- sharing schemes and some of the legal implications. Finally, there is a consideration of whether all jobs are suitable for sharing and a brief investigation into the changing atti tudes of employers towards their job-sharing employees.
