Abstract
This work studies teachers' perception of their readiness for online teaching (OT) since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Firstly, the circumstances that can be used to explain the factor of readiness for OT are explained, followed by outlining the results of research on the teachers' perception of their readiness for OT. This research (N=390) encompasses the review of scientific literature and interpretation of the obtained results to determine the correlations between teachers' readiness for OT and predictive factors related to digital technology, digital literacy, and professional training online. Furthermore, it sought to investigate the differences regarding teachers' gender, profession, and relationship to work experience. The obtained data provide insight into the factors of readiness for OT that can be used to interpret teachers' perceptions of online instruction.
