At the latest with the reform of the SGB XII through the Bundesteilhabegesetz (BTHG), the concept of person-centeredness combined with the expectation of a proof of effectiveness of the services characterizes the professional public discussion.
In this publication, we want to discuss this multi-perspective discourse on the basis of central questions and current developments. In addition, the following articles are intended to shed some light on the thicket of the impact debate and the demand for person-centricity. However, it should be pointed out at this point that light always casts shadows and effects usually do not come without side effects. This is also shown by the very different contributions from science, politics and practice.
