Abstract
AbstractFactor XIII deficiency is a very rare disorder, which represents a significant threat to life and can result in significant morbidity. Factor XIII is the final enzyme in the coagulation cascade and is essential for normal homeostasis. There is a very high rate of bleeding in patients who do not receive appropriate prophylaxis. We report a case of patient who presented with profuse secondary post-tonsillectomy hemorrhage few days after the operation.
