ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF DYNAMICS OF SALES OF LOCAL ANTIBACTERIAL DRUGS PRESCRIBED FOR RHINITIS (BY THE EXAMPLE OF A PHARMACY IN KAZAN)

Abstract

An obligatory part of the pharmacy manager's work is the ordering of commodity items for the efficient operation of the institution. Nowadays computer programs allow to automate the ordering of goods, but quite often in pharmacies there is a local defektura of one or another commodity product. There may be several reasons for this, including hype or seasonal demand. If a defektura is detected on the order, the pharmacy manager has to manually determine which items should be ordered and in what quantity. This study shows the relevance of analyzing and evaluating the dynamics of sales of local antibacterial drugs in the season of colds and, no less importantly, taking into account the pharmaceutical forms of pharmacy manufacture. The popularity among the population of the city of the use of protargol in the treatment of bacterial infections of the nasopharynx is noted. It is important for the pharmacy manager to competently adjust the available range of medicines in order to improve the financial results of the activity. It is difficult to plan the procurement of local antibacterial drugs because they are seasonal products with average forecasting capabilities. In the study ABC, XYZ and ABC XYZ analysis of the product lines under consideration was conducted. The results of the study showed that ointment complex with protargol is the most popular product among the studied items. Protargol solution 2%-10.0 of pharmacy production is not less important commodity. Ointment complex with protargol and protargol solution 2%-10.0 belong to inexpensive goods, but significantly involved in the creation of income of the pharmacy during the season of colds. The Pareto curve showed that the product item Ointment Complex with Protargol was sold in larger quantities and Protargol-LOR in smaller quantities. Factory-produced medicines Protargol-LOR and Polidexa make a small contribution to profits but can be costly due to storage costs. These are goods with irregular consumption, so it is difficult to forecast their demand. It is necessary to control stocks of this product item, as it is from them that illiquidity arises.
