Abstract

Aim. The study of new promising types of plant raw materials in order to establish the possibility of its further use in medicine is one of the priorities. Numerous studies have shown the presence of a rich elemental composition of plant raw materials, which can be used in medical and pharmaceutical practice to create phytopreparations and biologically active additives to correct the physiological norms of the content of elements in the human body [1]. In this regard, a comparative study of the elemental composition of black currant shoots and extract of leaves and shoots of dry currant is of practical interest for the further development of dosage forms and the formation of a scientific justification for their use in medical practice. The qualitative and quantitative composition of the elements of black currant shoots and extract of leaves and currant shoots was studied using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry on the X-ray fluorescence spectrometer of the QUANT'X brand of Thermo Scientific company. The conducted studies have shown the identity of the composite elemental composition of black currant shoots and extract of leaves and shoots of dry black currant. It has been established that in the shoots of black currant and in the extract of leaves and shoots of dry currant, elements accumulate in significant amounts: potassium, calcium, sodium, phosphorus, magnesium and iron, which is of interest for further development and production of medicines or biologically active additives based on them. Black currant shoots and extract of leaves and shoots of dry currant can act as sources of biologically available macro-, micro- and ultra-trace elements necessary for the human body.
