Abstract
Even two decades after its publication, Peters’ method of continuing the potential fields remains as one of the main tools for gravity‐magnetic interpretation. Recently, while calculating the downward continued field for the second level, i.e., for h=2, we suspected that there were errors in the coefficients given by Peters in his paper; hence, the coefficients were recalculated.
