Abstract

In this paper we describe the relationship between the finite free resolutions of perfect ideals in split format (for Dynkin formats) and certain intersections of opposite Schubert varieties with the big cell for homogeneous spaces G / P G/P , where P P is a maximal parabolic subgroup.
