A survey on diffeological vector spaces and applications

Abstract

Diffeological vector spaces arise naturally in the study of tangent bundles in geometry and operators in functional analysis. We give a concise survey on the current state of the art for the development of the theory of diffeological vector spaces, the relationship with topological vector spaces and fibre bundle theory, and some applications. We also present several new results, and propose many open questions.
